GoDefi, a Prague-based cryptocurrency payments platform, is preparing for its next phase of expansion with a second funding round. The company, which introduced a non-custodial crypto debit card, previously secured $2 million in seed funding to launch its service. Unlike traditional crypto payment providers, GoDefi enables direct wallet transactions without requiring users to deposit assets into its platform.

Built on the Solana blockchain, the Mastercard-powered GoDefi card allows cryptocurrency holders to make purchases at millions of merchants while maintaining full control of their digital assets. Instead of transferring funds to an intermediary, users transact directly from their wallets. The company plans to extend its services to additional blockchain networks and expand its reach beyond the European market. Compliance remains a key focus as GoDefi works toward global accessibility, aiming to serve over five million crypto users managing an estimated $15 billion in digital assets.

Following the success of its initial rollout, GoDefi is seeking further investment to support its multi-chain expansion and regulatory compliance efforts. The new funding round will enable the company to enhance its technology, integrate with more blockchain ecosystems, and broaden its market presence. The platform is available on Web, Android, and iOS, catering to both retail and institutional users navigating the decentralized finance space.
