Kernel DAO , a company focused on advancing cross-chain restaking technology, has secured investment from Binance Labs to develop infrastructure on the BNB Chain. This funding positions Kernel as the core provider of restaking solutions on the blockchain, enabling decentralized applications and middleware to strengthen programmable trust. With $10 million raised across multiple funding rounds, Kernel has drawn support from prominent investors, including SCB Limited, Laser Digital, and Bankless Ventures.

Kernel is extending restaking, a concept introduced on Ethereum, to the BNB Chain. The company has reported achieving more than $1 billion in Total Value Locked (TVL) and integrating with over 120 DeFi platforms. Additionally, Kernel has recorded connections with over 300,000 unique blockchain addresses, reflecting its growing adoption.

Kernel plans to focus on three main offerings: Kernel for cross-chain restaking on the BNB Chain, Kelp for liquid restaking on Ethereum, and Gain for tokenized yields. These products target applications in DeFi, centralized decentralized finance (CeDeFi), and real-world asset tokenization. The company also intends to launch the $KERNEL token to support governance and drive ecosystem participation.
