Rakurai, a staking protocol operating on Solana, has secured $3 million in seed funding. The investment round was led by Anagram Ventures, with additional participation from Colosseum, Slow Ventures, Robot Ventures, Crypto.com, P2P.org, GlobalStake, and Cyber Fund. The newly acquired capital will facilitate the launch of Rakurai’s staking platform and enhance its validator network.
The company reports that internal benchmarking indicates its infrastructure could achieve up to five times the transaction throughput of current Solana clients. Rakurai's system is designed to improve transaction efficiency for a wide range of users, from institutional entities to individual traders. The protocol utilizes proprietary scheduling mechanisms and pipeline optimizations to increase transaction density per block, potentially benefiting decentralized applications, automated trading systems, and validators.
