Singapore-based crypto data platform SoSoValue has raised $15 million in funding to further develop its multi-coin indices offerings. The funding round was led by Hongshan, with participation from SmallSpark, Mirana Ventures, and Safepal, bringing the company’s valuation to $200 million. With this latest investment, SoSoValue has now raised nearly $20 million since its inception in 2023.
Founded by Jessie Lo, May Wang, and Jivvva Kwan, SoSoValue addresses the complexities of crypto investing for retail investors by offering a range of tools such as real-time crypto prices, an AI-curated news feed, and detailed ETF data. The platform's indices, launched in late December, provide exposure to a basket of cryptocurrencies through wrapped tokens that reflect the value of assets on different blockchains. These indices, including MEME.ssi, track market trends and cater to retail investors seeking simplified, stress-free investment options.
The company plans to use the funding to introduce more indices under its SoSoValue Indices Protocol. This smart contract-based system automates the purchase of digital assets and their packaging into wrapped tokens. SoSoValue currently charges a 0.01% daily service fee for token holders and intends to expand its offerings globally, though its products remain unavailable in the United States.
