Space and Time, Web3 platform, receives $20 million investment from Microsoft's M12 division

Space and Time, a Web3 native data platform that uses Proof of SQL cryptography to enable trustless automation of business logic, has received $20 million in strategic capital from renowned investors lead by Microsoft's M12 fund.

Framework Ventures, HashKey, Foresight Ventures, SevenX Ventures, Polygon, Blizzard the Avalanche Fund, Stratos, Hash Capital, Coin DCX, and other influential Web3 communities and angel investors are among the other investors who took part in the investment round.

Prior to this round, the cryptocurrency investment firm Framework Ventures conducted a seed funding round in which Space and Time raised $10 million.

The money will allow Space and Time, according to co-founder and CEO Nate Holiday, to expand its cooperation with Chainlink and win the strategic backing of M12 and Microsoft. Over 90% of the investment will go toward the product and user adoption, and it will be utilized to speed up engineering and product development.

In order to provide enterprise-grade uses for smart contract applications, Space and Time offers a Web3 native decentralized data warehouse that integrates on-chain and off-chain data. Through Proof-of-SQL cryptography, the business, which was created as a part of Chainlink's "Startup with Chainlink" program, enables users to link analytics to smart contracts.

The business will interface with Microsoft Azure to give Azure clients a way to access, manage, and analyze data that is intrinsic to blockchains. In order to automate business logic in centralized systems and connect it directly to smart contracts, Microsoft will enable Space and Time, according to Michelle Gonzales, corporate vice president and worldwide head of M12.

For Web3 game developers working on DeFi and Web3 applications, Space and Time designed its multichain data platform. The company will aim to expand the possibilities of hybrid smart contracts through its relationship with Chainlink.
