Stoffel MPC has completed its pre-seed funding round, co-led by Eterna Capital and Robot Ventures, with additional participation from Stoffel’s Angels. The company is focused on Multi-Party Computation (MPC), a cryptographic technique enabling secure, trust-minimized computation for Web3, artificial intelligence, and financial applications.

MPC has traditionally been complex and resource-intensive, limiting its adoption to cryptographic experts. Stoffel MPC abstracts these challenges with a full-stack solution, including a Python-styled domain-specific language (DSL), an optimized compiler that automates cryptographic transformations, and an MPC virtual machine (VM) for secure computations at production speed. By simplifying implementation, the company makes privacy-enhancing computation more accessible to developers.

Stoffel MPC supports Web3 builders integrating private computation into smart contracts, financial applications improving capital efficiency while reducing information asymmetry, and web developers securing encrypted data during use. Compared to Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), MPC enables encrypted computation with more practical performance trade-offs. While ZKPs allow data verification without revealing information and FHE requires significant computational resources, MPC offers an efficient alternative for privacy-preserving applications.
