BetterX, Institutional Trading Platform, Raise (AUD) $2.3M Pre-Series A

BetterX, a Singapore-based digital asset platform, has raised $1.72 million (S$2 million) in a pre-Series funding round. The round included new investors such as Scalare Partners, Wholesale Investor, B7 Capital, and the founder of Audacy Ventures, alongside existing backers Aura Group and Tibra co-founder Kinsey Cotton. The company aims to expand into Asia while exploring opportunities in the Middle East and the United States.

Founded in 2021, BetterX provides institutional-grade solutions for tokenization, trading, and portfolio management. Its platform enables wealth managers to securely access and manage digital assets while ensuring regulatory compliance. Additional investors in this round included Grand Prix Capital, Aument Capital, and angel investors such as Sabrina Tachdjian of HBAR Foundation and Riaz Mehta of Crypto Knights.

With its Australian operations now profitable, BetterX is expanding amid growing institutional adoption of digital assets. The latest investment follows broader funding trends, with blockchain companies raising $1.11 billion in February alone, driven by increased investor interest in decentralized finance and security solutions.
