Manifest, Institutional-grade tokenized U.S. real estate onchain, Raise $2.5M from VanEck Ventures and others

Manifest, a blockchain-based platform facilitating global access to U.S. private equity real estate, has raised $2.5 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was co-led by VanEck Ventures and Lattice Fund, with participation from Compound and SALT. Manifest, an alumnus of crypto accelerators CV and Alliance, aims to remove barriers associated with traditional real estate investments by providing institutional-grade opportunities onchain. The funding will be directed toward product development, strategic partnerships, and the launch of $USH, a tokenized real estate asset backed by Home Equity Investments (HEIs).

Manifest seeks to address inefficiencies in real estate tokenization by offering an investment model that integrates with decentralized finance (DeFi) and scales without operational burdens. Unlike prior attempts that focused on fractionalized direct ownership, Manifest’s model eliminates management overhead while maintaining exposure to U.S. home price appreciation. Through its $USH token, the platform enables investors to access real estate-backed assets with liquidity comparable to stablecoins. The model also facilitates secondary market trading and DeFi composability, allowing users to leverage and borrow against holdings.

The funding round will support further development of Manifest’s ecosystem, including new financial instruments and DeFi integrations. The company’s leadership includes Nathaniel Sokoll-Ward, co-founder and former CEO of Roostify, a mortgage platform handling $600 billion in transactions, and Robert V. Lee, a former Deloitte consultant specializing in finance and strategy. Manifest plans to expand its offerings, allowing investors worldwide to engage in U.S. real estate markets through blockchain technology.
